Constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939, the Fenn Historical Ranger Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other historic sites are still in use on the District including the Moose Creek Ranger Station (built in 1922), Shearer Guard Station, Meadow Creek Cabin (circa 1922), and Selway Falls Cabin (circa 1907). Located along Selway River Road five miles east of the junction of Lowell and Hwy 12.
