The Weippe Discovery Center is dedicated to sharing the story and tale of the historic meeting between the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery and the Nimiipuu, who saved the expedition from starvation. You’ll find interactive exhibits and artifacts. Take a video tour of the Visitor Center.
A highlight of a visit to the Center are the hand-painted murals and descriptive plaques located along a winding path around the center. You’ll also be able to identify plant life they discovered on the journey.
