This drive takes you east toward the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. At the south end of Riggins, cross the bridge over the Little Salmon River and follow the Big Salmon River Road east to the end of the road. 27 miles. Historical markers point to “ferry” spots and mining history. Several picnic spots with facilities are located along the road.
